Stairs
Stepped or raked panels that follow the stringer — the staircase becomes the feature.
Frameless glass railings in Woodbridge leave the posts and the top rail off, so the yard stays visible from the kitchen. Lux Glass comes from Oakville, measures the run, and only then puts a number on paper.

Most of these houses are two storeys, brick or stone on the front, with the deck off the main living floor at the back. A glass deck railing keeps that yard, and any trees beyond it, in one piece from the kitchen. Spigots fix 12 mm tempered glass to the deck edge. Nothing runs at eye level.
Lots toward the Humber River often sit higher at the back than at the street. We measure the height at each stretch. Where the deck feels springy underfoot, that bay is marked and the fixing is redesigned before any panel is made.
Spigots that stay outdoors are Duplex 2205. Most quotes are clear glass. If the boards are very light and the green cast of ordinary glass would show, low-iron is the upgrade, written as Starphire. A frosted panel is only the bay that looks into the next house's windows.
The other common Woodbridge job is the stair from the main floor to the bedrooms. Glass on 316 stainless standoff pins stands off the stringer. When the treads are oak or maple, the grip on top of the glass can be that same wood, chosen while we are in the house.
We template the rake before the glass goes to the furnace. The panel that arrives is finished size.
Woodbridge is part of the City of Vaughan, not its own municipality. A new deck or a new guard is a Vaughan building question. The city decides whether your project needs a permit.
A deck guard and a pool enclosure are different jobs. Pool glass in Woodbridge follows Vaughan's Fence By-law 189-2020, Schedule A. That work is on the glass pool fence in Vaughan page. Guard height and the gaps on a deck follow Ontario Building Code Division B, Subsection 9.8.8. The sheet is tempered safety glass certified to CAN/CGSB-12.1.

Explore →Projects start from $180 per linear foot installed; the final price depends on the railing system and glass you choose. HST sits on top. A corner, a gate, or a stair is not folded into that entry. Each one is a line you read before you agree.
That system is on aluminum glass railings. You can see both while we are at the house.
Email a paced-off length if you have one, a photo from the kitchen looking out, and one from the yard looking back. On install day the glass is already tempered. We set the spigots, stand the panels, and take the cardboard away in the van.
