The trade partner program exists to make it straightforward for designers, architects, and residential GCs to bring Lux Glass into their projects — and to get paid for doing it.

What you get as a partner

Standard trade discount: 10% of installed price, paid on invoice settlement. The percentage is calculated on the final client invoice — no negotiating line items after the fact.
Volume bonus: 15% for repeat partners. Once your first referral closes and is installed, or after three referrals close in a calendar year, your rate moves to 15% on all subsequent referrals in that period.
Single point of contact for the full project lifecycle. Bojan handles the quote, coordinates the install, and is the person you call if anything needs attention. You are not passed from sales to a project desk to a scheduler.
5-year written workmanship warranty on every install — the same warranty document your client receives direct. You can show it to your client before the project starts. It is signed, not verbal.
48-hour quote turnaround on submitted projects. Send the scope — space dimensions, product type, and any relevant drawings — and you have a written number within two business days.
In-house install crew — no subcontractors. We do not send a third party to your client’s home. The crew that shows up is the crew that measured and fabricated. This matters when the project is a $200,000 renovation and your client’s trust in you is the asset.
Project portfolio coordination. With your permission, we credit your firm on our website gallery and social posts. If you prefer the project stay private, we do not use it — your call, not ours.

What we install

Lux Glass supplies and installs a full range of residential and light commercial glass. If your project includes any of the following, it is in scope:

Frameless shower enclosures and steam shower enclosures — custom-measured, tempered glass, standard and low-iron options. See our shower enclosure work.
Glass railings — interior and exterior, OBC-compliant, frameless and semi-frameless. Aluminum railing systems also available where the spec calls for it.
Custom mirrors and mirror walls — cut to size, bevelled, installed with appropriate hardware for the wall substrate.
Glass partitions — office and residential, frameless and framed, with door options.
Glass backsplashes — back-painted and standard, templated and installed. Glass backsplash installation across the GTA.
Commercial storefronts — aluminum framing systems, IGUs, entrance packages for commercial glazing projects where your scope extends to the building envelope.

Custom glass cutting — tabletops, shelves, replacement panes — is also available as a standalone service for your studio or office needs.

How a referral works

You introduce the project. Email or call Bojan with the client’s first name, a brief description of what they need, and the best way to reach them. You do not need to prepare a scope document — a short note is enough to get started.
We respond within 48 hours. Bojan follows up with your client directly, books a site visit if needed, and prepares a written quote. You receive a copy of the quote if you want visibility on the scope and pricing.
We install. Lux Glass handles measure, fabrication, delivery, and installation. We keep you informed of the schedule so you are never caught off guard on your own project site.
Your commission is paid NET-30. Once the client’s invoice settles, your trade discount is calculated on the final installed value and paid within 30 days. No chasing, no reconciliation required on your end.

Why partners stay

Most trade partnerships erode the same way: the sub the designer recommended turns out to be three tiers of subcontracting away from an accountable person, the warranty disappears into a voicemail, and the designer ends up managing a problem that was never theirs to own. Lux Glass does not operate that way. The person who answers when there is a call-back is the person who installed the glass. The warranty is a signed document, not a policy statement on a website. There are no subcontractors showing up to your client’s kitchen renovation with an unfamiliar face and no knowledge of the original scope. That consistency is the reason designers and GCs who have referred one project come back with the next one — the referral does not cost them anything to manage after the introduction.

There is no registration fee. No exclusivity is required. The application is a short conversation, not a contract — the goal is to make sure we are a good operational fit before your client’s project is in scope.

Frequently asked questions

When does the commission get paid?

Your trade discount is paid NET-30 from the date the client’s invoice is paid in full. Once the project is complete and the client settles, Bojan calculates your amount and issues payment within 30 days. You receive confirmation of the calculation — there is nothing you need to invoice us for, and nothing you need to track on your end.

Can I co-brand the install — have my firm’s name in the project credit?

Yes, and we encourage it where it makes sense for both parties. When we post a completed project to our gallery or social media, we credit the referring designer or architect by name (or firm name) if you have given us permission. If you prefer the project remain private — or if your client has not consented to any photography — we will not use the project. The co-branding credit is yours to grant or withhold.

Do I need to register or sign anything to start?

No formal registration is required to refer your first project. The application note above is simply a way for us to know who we are working with and route your referrals correctly. If the partnership grows, we can formalize it with a simple written agreement — but there is no prerequisite paperwork before you send us your first client introduction.

What is the typical lead time for a residential project I send your way?

Lead times vary by product. Frameless shower enclosures are typically two to three weeks from final measure to install. Custom mirrors and glass backsplashes run one to two weeks. Residential glass railings are generally three to four weeks, depending on whether engineered drawings are required for the specific installation. When you submit a project, the written quote includes a lead time estimate so you can plan your client’s schedule accordingly. If your project has a hard completion date, mention it when you make the introduction — we flag schedule constraints early, not at install.
