A stair inside is the next. Lux Glass is based in Oakville and drives to Guelph for the measure. There is no charge for that visit.
A name and a phone number on the form will book it.
Glass railings Guelph decks actually show
The photograph is a Guelph deck: composite boards, white siding, black spigots, glass without a top rail, trees beyond the edge. That is the glass deck railing we mean. Limestone and brick houses closer to downtown often have a smaller porch or a short rear platform. Newer streets at the edge of the city have a longer deck and a simpler run. Both use the same glass. The length and the corners change the quote, not the system.
Outdoor spigots are Duplex 2205. Clear glass is standard. Ask if you want low-iron, or frosted glass toward a neighbour. Guards follow the Ontario Building Code, Division B, Subsection 9.8.8. The glass meets CAN/CGSB-12.1.
The City of Guelph decides whether your deck or your guard needs a permit. We build to the measure.
A glass stair railing when the hall is open
Some Guelph houses, including older ones divided into more than one household, have a stair that opens to the hall. A glass stair railing there is held on 316 stainless standoff pins, with a wood handrail if the treads are wood. The pins and the handrail are chosen when we see the stringer.
The panel is templated. Tempered glass is not cut again in the hall.
Aluminum glass railings start from $160 per linear foot installed.

Guelph is its own city. A Guelph address is quoted here. Kitchener and Waterloo are a different railing page, and Cambridge is another. The starting price does not change between them.
If the glass must keep people out of a pool, say so on the call. That enclosure is quoted on its own. We do not treat a deck guard as a pool fence.
Custom glass railings, one starting price
Projects start from $180 per linear foot installed; the final price depends on the railing system and glass you choose. Supply and installation are in the figure. HST is extra. Corners and a stair are extra lines, shown after the measure.

FAQ
Guelph questions, answered.
What is the glass railing cost in Guelph?
HST is extra. The written total comes after the free measure.
Is a Guelph quote the same paperwork as Kitchener?
No. Guelph is a separate city, with its own building department. The starting price matches. The permit question does not.
Can you price a stair without a photo of one?
We can book the visit from a deck photo. The stair price waits until we template the flight. A guess from a doorway width is not a quote.
Who permits the guard?
The City of Guelph. Ask them if you are unsure.
What warranty is on the work?
5-year warranty on labour and 5-year warranty on hardware.
