What “high-end” actually means in a mirror
The mirror from a big-box store is float glass with a basic flat-polished edge, cut to a stock size. A high-end custom mirror differs on four things you can actually see:
- Glass type. Standard mirror has a faint green tint from the iron in the glass. Low-iron mirror returns true colour — it matters when the mirror reflects marble, brass, or a specified paint, all common in Oakville ensuites.
