Interior & Exterior
Glass Railing.

Frameless and semi-frameless railing for decks, balconies, staircases and pools — unobstructed views, built for Canadian winters.

Three systems, one standard.

Frameless spigot systems — short metal posts that grip the glass at the base, leaving the run above completely open. Frameless channel systems — the glass sits in a continuous aluminum base channel, the cleanest line of the three. Semi-frameless post systems — glass panels set between vertical posts, the workhorse for long exterior runs.

Whichever system fits your site, the glass is tempered or laminated safety glass, measured to the run as built.

Ontario Building Code, handled.

Guards on decks up to 1.8m above grade need a minimum height of 900mm; higher decks need 1,070mm. Tempered or laminated safety glass is required throughout. Wind load varies by region — we engineer for it, so your railing passes inspection the first time.

Maintenance

Periodic cleaning with a squeegee and detergent. Nothing more. No painting, no rot, no rust.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does glass railing meet Ontario Building Code?

Yes — every install is engineered to OBC: 900mm minimum guard height for decks up to 1.8m above grade, 1,070mm above that, tempered or laminated safety glass throughout, wind load calculated for your region.

How is the glass anchored?

Depends on the system: spigots bolt to the deck or stair structure, channel systems anchor a continuous aluminum base, post systems fix to the surface or fascia. Every anchor is sized to the substrate — concrete, wood or steel.

Will it survive a Canadian winter?

Yes. Tempered and laminated glass handle freeze-thaw, snow load and wind without fatigue. The hardware is stainless or marine-grade aluminum — no rust, no rot, no repainting.

What maintenance does it need?

A squeegee and detergent, a few times a year. That's the entire maintenance schedule.
