Lux Glass makes custom mirrors for Vaughan homes in Woodbridge, Kleinburg, and Maple — full-height vanity mirrors, LED backlit mirrors, antique feature walls, floor-to-ceiling workout mirrors, and mirrors for closets, doors, and dressing rooms. Many Vaughan homes are custom or estate builds with tall ceilings, stone, and detailed millwork, and the mirror has to be cut around all of it. Owner and master glazier Bojan Stojic templates and installs every piece himself, with no subcontractors. This is the Vaughan side of our custom mirror service.

Cut around stone, sconces, and millwork
In Kleinburg and the Woodbridge estate pockets, the mirror is rarely a plain rectangle on a blank wall. It has to fit between stone mouldings, pass around wall sconces, and meet custom cabinetry on a clean line. All of that is settled by the template. We measure once the stone, millwork, and electrical are finished, mark every edge and opening on site, and cut the glass to that template. Openings for receptacles and sconces sit flush, and the mirror lands where your designer drew it rather than where a stock size happens to stop.
Where in Vaughan we install mirrors
- Woodbridge — the Islington Woods and Pine Valley estates, Weston Downs, Sonoma Heights family homes, Elder Mills, and heritage-style renovations around Market Lane and Old Woodbridge.
- Vellore Village — modern multi-level homes, with basement gym mirror walls among the work we do there.
- Kleinburg — heritage renovations in Kleinburg Village and the larger estates along Nashville Road, Islington Avenue Estates, Copper Creek, and Treelawn.
- Maple — heritage homes, modern estates, and townhomes. See our Maple glass page.
Full-height vanity mirrors for tall rooms
Custom homes in Kleinburg are built well beyond builder standard, with tall ceilings and large primary ensuites, and a stock mirror looks undersized in a room like that. A full-height vanity mirror, often with a bevelled edge, carries the line of the room from the counter to the ceiling. Large pieces need a clear route into the house and up the stairs, so we walk the path at the site measure. Where one sheet cannot make the trip, we plan a tight seam at a natural break, such as the line between two vanities, so the joint looks intended.
LED backlit and antique mirrors
An LED backlit mirror puts the light behind the glass, giving an even glow around the edge instead of a fixture above it. It needs a power supply behind the mirror position, so your electrician places that before we template. Antique mirror is a different idea: an aged, smoked, or foxed finish made to size for a feature wall. In Vaughan homes it suits dining rooms, bars, and wine areas, where a softer reflection is the point and a clear mirror would feel too bright. Both are cut to the wall and finished on every exposed edge.
Dressing rooms, closets, and doors
Walk-in closets and dressing rooms in larger Vaughan homes call for full-length mirrors on walls, closet doors, and cabinet fronts. We cut mirror panels to drop into existing doors and millwork and finish the edges so they are smooth to the touch. In Kleinburg, dressing room mirrors are cut around custom cabinetry the same way a vanity wall is, from a template taken after the cabinets are in. There is more on this in our guide to closet and door mirrors.
Workout and studio mirrors
Floor-to-ceiling workout mirrors for home studios in Woodbridge and basement gyms in Vellore Village are built from several panels butted with tight seams, so the reflection runs across with only a hairline between them. Each panel is sized to pass the stairs and doorways on the way in. A long run also shows any bow in the wall, so we check it for flatness and shim or pack where it dips before the first panel goes up. The weight sits on a bottom channel, and solvent-free mirror mastic holds the face.
Price and process
Custom mirrors start from $28/sqft, and that includes full-wall gym mirrors. The price is set by the size and height of each piece, the number of panels, a polished or bevelled edge, the cutouts, any LED or antique finish, and access. The job runs in five steps: a site measure, a fixed written quote, a template once stone, cabinets, and electrical are finished, fabrication to that template, and the install. On a custom build we fit our dates around your builder or designer. Lux Glass is WSIB insured, carries $5,000,000 Commercial General Liability, and has been in business since 2008. Every install carries our 5-year warranty on labour and 5-year warranty on hardware.
Vaughan custom mirror FAQs
When should we book the mirror on a custom home build?
Book the first site measure early so the mirror is part of the plan, but the final template happens after the stone, cabinetry, and electrical are finished. Measuring against finished surfaces is what lets the mirror meet the millwork on a clean line.
Can the mirror fit between stone mouldings or around a sconce?
Yes. We template the opening on site, including every moulding edge and sconce position, and cut the glass to match. Openings for receptacles and sconces are cut so the mirror sits flush around them.
What is the difference between a bevelled and a polished edge?
A bevelled edge is ground at an angle around the border, so it catches the light and reads more traditional. A polished flat edge is square and smooth and reads clean and modern. Both are finished so no edge is sharp.
Can a full-height mirror be one piece?
Sometimes. It depends on the size and on the route from the driveway to the room, including doors, stairs, and turns. We check that route at the site measure and, if needed, plan a tight seam at a natural break.
Can antique mirror be used on a dining room or bar wall?
Yes. Antique mirror is made to size like any other mirror and works well as a feature on a dining room, bar, or wine area wall, where a softer, aged reflection suits the room better than clear mirror.
Do you install mirrors in Maple townhomes as well as estates?
Yes. We install custom mirrors across Vaughan, from Maple townhomes to Kleinburg estates. A townhome vanity mirror follows the same steps: site measure, written quote, template, fabrication, and install by Bojan.
What warranty comes with a Vaughan mirror install?
Every install carries our 5-year warranty on labour and 5-year warranty on hardware, and the person who measured your mirror is the person who installed it.
