Where we work in Vaughan
We cover all of Vaughan, including Woodbridge, Kleinburg, Maple, Concord, Vellore Village and Thornhill. In Woodbridge, the commercial side of our work centres on Market Lane and Old Woodbridge, where we handle boutique commercial glass alongside heritage-style renovations. In Kleinburg Village, interior glass partitions come up as part of bespoke heritage renovations. Whatever the address, every job starts with a site measure in person.
Professional and medical suites
A dental office, a medical practice and a law firm share the same basic need: rooms private enough for the conversation inside them, in a suite that does not feel closed in. We build those rooms from full-height tempered glass to CAN/CGSB-12.1, with frosted glass where people should not be seen and acoustic laminated glass where they should not be heard. We stage the work, and use evenings or weekends where the building allows, so the practice can keep seeing patients or clients.
Glass home offices in Woodbridge and Kleinburg homes
In Woodbridge we also build floor-to-ceiling glass walls and doors for home offices, whether in a finished basement or off a main living area. A glass wall closes the office off from household noise while the daylight still reaches the desk. In Kleinburg homes, ceilings of 10 to 12 feet mean taller panels, which take more planning for handling and fixing than a standard-height wall. We coordinate with your builder or renovation contractor so that blocking and finishes are ready before we template.
Sliding or swing doors
A sliding door suits a home office or a consult room where floor space is tight, provided there is clear wall beside the opening for the door to travel. A swing door seals better at the edges, which helps with sound, and takes a lock and a closer more easily, which suits suites that hold records. In a large Woodbridge or Kleinburg room either works, so the choice often comes down to how the door looks and how often it is used.
Coordinating the building systems
Before final measurements, the new layout has to work with the building. In a commercial suite that means checking air supply and returns, sprinkler coverage, lighting and switch locations, and any access-control hardware for the doors. In a house it is usually heating vents, lighting and outlets. Your contractor or the building’s trades make those changes, and we template the glass after they are done.
Cost of office glass partitions in Vaughan
Office glass partitions start from $1,200. Your quote depends on the length and height of the glass, the doors, any frosted or acoustic laminated panels, and the hardware finish. Tall panels in high-ceiling homes, and suites that need after-hours work, are priced to those conditions. Every quote is written, itemized and based on our own site measure.
Owner-operated, start to finish
Lux Glass is owner-operated. Bojan Stojic measures and installs every job himself, with no subcontractors, and the company brings 18 years of experience. We are WSIB insured and carry $5,000,000 in Commercial General Liability coverage, and every installation carries our 5-year warranty on labour and 5-year warranty on hardware.
Vaughan office partition FAQs
Do you install office partitions in Concord and Maple, or only in Woodbridge?
We cover all of Vaughan, including Concord, Maple, Woodbridge, Kleinburg, Vellore Village and Thornhill. Every project starts with an in-person site measure, wherever the office is.
Can you build a glass home office in a Woodbridge or Kleinburg house?
Yes. A full-height glass wall with a sliding or swing door can close off a home office while keeping it bright. Frosted or acoustic laminated glass can be used if the office faces a busy family room or if calls need to stay private.
What does our landlord or property manager need from you before we start?
Typically proof of insurance and a description of the work and the hours. Lux Glass is WSIB insured and carries $5,000,000 in Commercial General Liability coverage, and we send the certificates before the install date. Engineer-stamped drawings are available upon request for an additional fee.
Can our dental or medical suite stay open while you install?
Usually, yes. We stage the work so most of the suite keeps running, and we offer evening and weekend installs where the building allows them. We agree on the schedule with you before the glass is fabricated.
Is frosted glass enough for a consult room, or do we need acoustic glass?
Frosted glass gives visual privacy only. If the conversation itself must stay private, acoustic laminated glass is the better choice, together with good door seals. A consult room can combine both, for example acoustic laminated glass with a frosted band, while open areas stay clear.
We may expand next year. Should we choose a relocatable glass system?
If moving or reconfiguring the walls is a real possibility, raise it before design. A fixed frameless wall is built for one location, while a relocatable system has to be chosen for that purpose from the start. We will tell you which the proposed system is, so you can decide with your lease and growth plans in mind.
How much does one glass office cost in Vaughan?
Office glass partitions start from $1,200. A single office is priced on its wall length, height, door type, glass type and hardware, and you receive a written, itemized quote after the site measure.
